everything seemed amazing, kind staff, comfy rooms. there were a minibar and climate control in the room, loved that. the swimming pool was nice and the breakfast was savoury and absolutely fantastic. this accommodation had a very central setting right in the centre of town. great to be 700 feet away from bonita, enjoyed our meal there. had a good time.

Also, location was good, right at Tulum Underwater Dive Shop. Besides, it was very close to a restaurant, the cafe alongside the hotel/apartment and ADO bus station. The breakfast was tasty overall...

A satisfying meal at Babel Cafe: I remember enjoying a delicious breakfast at the onsite restaurant. The menu offered a variety of mouth-watering options that left me feeling satisfied and ready to start my day exploring.
Fridge takes a while: The only minor issue I noticed was that the fridge in the room took a bit longer than expected to get cold.

I had a fantastic stay at this centrally located hotel. Mundo Maya in Tulum is just a short walk from the bus station, making it incredibly convenient to get around. the WiFi in my room was excellent, thanks to being situated above the cafe where the router is. the bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. the cafe downstairs serves delicious breakfast that kept me full all day. Despite being in the center of town, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful stay. the pool area was a nice touch, and I felt safe and secure with the gated premises. Hose, the host, was extremely helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Mundo Maya for its location, amenities, and excellent service. Cons: Not one thing! 😉.

We had a blast with our friends exploring the epic Cenote Calavera and Cenote Crystal. These places were so worth it for some adventure and unique swims. It was like diving into a whole new world! Can't wait to come back and do it all over again!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening nightlife scene near the hotel. We are young and love to party, so it would have been awesome if there were more clubs or bars in close proximity.

The value for money at Mundo Maya was excellent, with a basic but comfortable room equipped with AC, fridge, and a safe. The location was perfect, right in the center of town but set away from the street noise. The owner Hose was fantastic and always on-site, ensuring a friendly and helpful experience.
The breakfast option could have been improved with a greater variety of choices.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at this centrally-located hotel. The spacious and clean room offered a comfortable bed and reliable air conditioning. The location was perfect, surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars. Additionally, the owner and his family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and treated me like family. The breakfasts served by the pool were incredible, especially the delicious pancakes. I also appreciated the option to rent bicycles and a scooter from the owner, allowing me to explore the ruins and beaches at my own pace. Despite a few minor cleanliness issues, the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value and welcoming atmosphere.

The breakfast was fantastic, with many delicious options. the location was central, making it convenient to get around. the complimentary extras were appreciated.
The lack of reception was frustrating and inconvenient. the rooms were dark and musty, and there were limited places to hang clothes.
